We process candidate data to operate your account, receive and assess applications, communicate about recruitment, arrange interviews, make hiring decisions, protect the security of the careers platform and meet legal obligations. Optional talent-network processing only takes place when you choose it.
Account and contact data; profile, language, education and professional information; application answers; documents you choose to upload; application status and communications; consent records; and limited technical/security records required to operate the service.
Processing is carried out where necessary to take steps at your request before entering an employment or cooperation relationship, to comply with applicable legal obligations, for proportionate legitimate recruitment and security interests, and on consent where the interface explicitly asks for optional consent.
A verified email address, phone number, core profile data, a CV, the three role questions and the application privacy acknowledgement are required to submit an application. Optional profile fields and talent-network choices are clearly marked and do not determine whether you may submit.
Access is limited to authorized Black Coast hiring staff and service providers used to host the careers platform, authentication, private file storage and transactional email. Access is role-based and candidate files are not published publicly.
Recruitment may involve group teams and service providers in different countries. Where an applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, Black Coast Capital LLC will use the relevant contractual, statutory or other permitted safeguard and provide further information on request.
Application records are scheduled for deletion or anonymisation after 6 months following the end of the relevant process, unless a longer period is required for a legal claim or legal obligation. If you separately join the Black Coast Talent Network, that entry expires after 12 months unless you renew your choice. Submitted application snapshots remain unchanged during the applicable retention period.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, withdraw an optional consent for the future, obtain information about transfers and lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. Withdrawing an application does not erase the record immediately when a lawful retention period still applies.
Candidate documents are stored in private storage. Downloads use time-limited signed access, staff access is role-controlled and sensitive actions are logged. We do not use protected or sensitive characteristics to rank candidates and automated signals do not make hiring decisions.
