Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role overview

You will work on the platform that the group's companies run on: identity, document handling and the interfaces used daily by internal teams and external clients. The stack is TypeScript, React and Postgres, deployed continuously.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end, from schema design through interface to production monitoring.
• Extend the shared platform services used by Capital and AcrossEstate.
• Write and review design documents for changes that cross service boundaries.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for the services your team owns.

Experience & skills

• Five or more years building production web applications with TypeScript and React.
• Comfortable designing relational schemas and writing non-trivial SQL.
• Experience operating services you have shipped, not only writing them.
• Working English; German is useful but not required.

How the role works

Teams are four to six people with a product owner embedded. Planning is weekly, releases are continuous, and the team decides how work is broken down. Two office days per week in Berlin, otherwise remote within the EU.
